After some silence caused by long vinyl pressing times, Flashback Records comes back with a new vinyl release FLA 0014 Flexx – Break You Down.“Break You Down” was composed and arranged by a legendary crew Turatti-Chieregato-Di Bonaventura-Tirone in 1984 for the movie “Il Futuro E Donna”. The production team decided to go on with female lead vocals and the original version was eventually performed by Josy Nowack (released on CGD in 1984). The movie soundtrack included two instrumental tracks by Flexx (voice of Fred Ventura) which gave producer Kimmo Salo the idea to ask Fred Ventura also to sing “Break You Down”.The vocal version on the A-side is quite a precise remake from the original, but now with vocals by Fred Ventura. The B-side has an instrumental version which has slightly different arrangements originally created for the movie (never released elsewhere). The B-side also includes a remix by Electro Potato. The vinyl comes on black and on red wax, with a nice picture sleeve inspired by the original soundtrack design.
