Description
James Knights offered Flashback Records an interesting collaboration for the release of his latest song. “Dolce Canarino” is James’ project, for which he hired Denise, who we remember as the frontwoman of Baby’s Gang, as a female vocalist. The song sounded good, and especially the information about the remixers, had a positive impact on the decision to include it in the Flashback Records catalog.
After careful consideration, we decided to release the vinyl on the MEM Music label, as the Baby’s Gang sound is a significant part of the Memory Records catalog. The other side of the vinyl contains more modern remixes of the song and is therefore named the DE (Disco Evolution) side, while another side (MEM side) features remixes by Flemming Dalum and Electro Potato that are very faithful to the Memory Records sound.
The cover design beautifully follows the line of the 80s Baby’s Gang cover art. Thanks to Jaume Matallana Lopez for that.
